Whew!! That was a fun last hour. I picked up 76 pips. Yesterday at the same time I got 36. No doubt tomorrow will be -150 to make up for it all and then some ;-

Quoting Way to go . ~ $700.00 an hour. That's just about Philly Lawyer rates. I wish! I was practicing money management and actually only made a little under $150 on it. I'm working on a 10K account. So limiting my trades to .2 lots. Sigh. Maybe that's too conservative? But it was still a pile of fun. And I've managed to keep my account positive since I opened it a month ago and even up 10%. But I'm sure 95% of this is pure dumb beginner's luck.

Hey , If Beginners didn't have luck there would be no Intermediates. Still. Nice Trade and great to hear that it was done wisely under MM. On what btw?

Quoting GBPUSD and USDJPY. Do you think .2 lots is too conservative per trade on a 10K account? No I don't. The object is to increase your balance at a risk rate you feel comfortable. If that's $2.00/pip, fine. If it's $0.20/pip that's fine also. Consider this as a University where the object is to have sufficient funds to finish your degree. It's gonna take a few years to get it but only if you can still afford it. After you get your Degree you can hope to earn some pretty good money as long as you don't get in over your head.
